
The Government of the Republic of Belarus will provide subsidies to dairy plants and producers of agricultural products to pay part of the interest on loans.
This is provided for by the Decree of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus No. 129 dated March 4, 2021, which was officially published on the National Legal Internet Portal.
Subsidies will be given to organizations producing dairy products that are labeled with identification tools. Funds are provided in 2021-2024 to pay part of the interest on loans issued in 2021 on the terms of banks for up to three years for the purpose of implementing subprogram 3 "Development of livestock breeding, processing and sale of livestock products" of the state program "Agrarian business" for 2021-2025 years.
The list includes 23 such organizations, including open joint-stock companies OJSC "Babushkina Krynka" - the management company of the holding Mogilev Dairy Company "Babushkina Krynka", "Verkhnedvinsk Butter and Cheese Plant", "Glubokoe Dairy Canning Plant", "Zdravushka Milk", Milkavita, Minsk Dairy Plant No. 1, Turov Dairy Plant.
A list of producers of agricultural products for state needs has also been approved, which in 2021-2022 will be provided with subsidies to pay part of the interest on loans issued in 2021. This list includes 83 organizations, including bakeries, regional consumer societies, sugar factories, oil factories, and confectionery enterprises.
The Decree came into force after its official publication.
