November 3, Verkhnedvinsk. In the Vitebsk region, a lot has been done recently to make the region prettier and develop successfully. Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly Vladimir Andreichenko said this to journalists today at the opening of the renovated bridge over the Drissa River in Verkhnedvinsk, timed to coincide with October Revolution Day, BELTA correspondent reports.

“The Vitebsk region is becoming prettier. Look how much has been done recently. Even Vitebsk itself: the construction of the Polotsk overpass is a huge construction project that could not be done for years, but has been done recently. How many bridges and roads have been built. And in general, I think that in any direction (improvement is noticeable. - BELTA's note). Industry is providing growth this year. Agriculture - despite such difficult conditions, today more milk will be produced in the region. People work, they work with dignity," - he said.

The speaker noted that systematic work on the development of regions is ongoing. “We have five-year and annual plans. We will soon hold an All-Belarusian People’s Assembly, at which we will approve our plans for socio-economic development, our foreign and domestic policy,” said Vladimir Andreichenko.
