At the same time, livestock breeding, especially dairy, remains the dominant and most important area of ​​our company's activity, - emphasizes the general director and shares his plans.

Prepared food with a margin

The current agricultural year is coming to an end. What was it like for UE "Agrokombinat "Zhdanovichi"? Will the large herd of cattle and the inhabitants of the pig farm in Plashevo be fed?

– In 2022, UE Agrokombinat Zhdanovichi received 42,000 tons of grain (+14,000 compared to last year), says Alexey Petrusha, Chief Engineer - Deputy General Director of UE Agrokombinat Zhdanovichi. – Having fulfilled the state order for wheat, triticale, barley and buckwheat, the farm provided its herds with fodder grain.

- The year turned out to be medium-density for crop production. In order to maximize the efficiency of crop production and the yield of our fields, according to the forecasts of Hydromet, we planned the sequence of work and technological operations or their transfer to a more optimal time - and we succeeded! - Alexey Alekseevich clarifies and recognizes the obvious fact: - Agriculture remains a risky activity: this year, at the end of summer, there were no rains for about 40 days. But the company did not suffer any significant losses. Thanks to sunny weather, grain harvesting was carried out at the optimum time, without losses and at the lowest cost. Practically no drying of grain was required, which, when laid in storage, required minimal refinement.

Yes, the yield of SUGAR beet and corn has slightly decreased, but since the economy is diverse, other industries have compensated for this shortage. The main thing is that the enterprise is provided with fodder in full, even with a margin. Needs for feed grain, grassy fodder, silage and corn are completely covered!

The agrocombinat produces mixed feed at its own feed mill, purchasing only premixes, which makes it possible to control their quality.

On the musical wave

The journalists of the publication visited the MTC "Frunze". In the buildings of the complex, almost every working day, starting with the morning milking, wonderful music and singing sound. Of course, an invigorating, positive atmosphere cheers up people, but animals also like it. Cows line up to be milked by robots equipped with artificial intelligence.

To the black-and-white beauties who are bored in line, a huge automatic brush scratches their sides in turn, and fans fill the farm with fresh air. There are few such super-smart "milkmaids" in Belarus. That is, the dairy farming technologies of UE Agrokombinat Zhdanovichi are among the most advanced in the country and the world.

On such a positive-musical wave every day passes not only on this ITC, but also on others, as well as in greenhouses and other structural divisions of the complex.

Milk bet

“The enterprise is starting construction of a new dairy farm for 1.5 thousand dairy cows on the site of a small farm in Gorodishche, MINSK region,” the head notes. - There is an active study of technical documentation, design, selection of a contractor for the construction of the first stage of the ITC. The selection of productive cows for his dairy herd has already begun. With a train of all groups of cattle, 2.7 thousand head of cattle will be placed there.

Today, the main part of the cattle herd of the UE Agrokombinat Zhdanovichi, which is about 7 thousand heads of highly productive Holstein dairy cattle, of which about 3 thousand heads of dairy cattle, is concentrated on nine farms. The bulk of the dairy herd is kept at two MTCs - in Korolishevichi (Minsk region) and Frunze (Dzerzhinsky region). Both dairy farms are equipped with modern technologies for milking, keeping and feeding animals, and MTK Frunze is equipped with robotic milking machines.

In the future, the farm plans to keep all dairy cattle at two or three dairy complexes. Consolidation of small farms, consolidation of dairy herds is the way that will reduce costs, including logistics, and also increase the profitability of the organization.

The state sets the task for farmers to increase beef production. Considering this fact, the agrocombinat started fattening animals. On one of the farms, 700 bulls grow up. In fattening cattle, the economy sees one of the directions of its development: the demand for beef is growing all over the world.

Technical park - modern

The enterprise successfully carried out the laying of the 2023 harvest. 1.5 thousand hectares of winter rapeseed and 4.5 thousand hectares of winter cereals were sown. Another 1,000 hectares of fields have been plowed under for the future harvest of sugar beet. For sowing, cultivating the land and harvesting the crop, the farm has the necessary technical means. The technical park of UE "Agrokombinat "Zhdanovichi" is one of the most modern in the agricultural industry. For example, it has 25 power-saturated tractors of domestic and foreign production with a capacity of more than 250 horsepower (each), more than ten units of tractor equipment 210 - 240 horsepower.

There is a train of necessary equipment for harvesting and delivering sugar beet for processing, which makes this crop profitable for farmers. That is, the farm has everything necessary for carrying out agricultural work in the time recommended by the agrotechnical services.

"From Petrovich"

The agricultural complex traditionally grows vegetables in the open field. Cabbage harvesting is complete. Cucumbers, cabbage and other open-ground vegetables in the Zhdanovichi Agrocombinat Unitary Enterprise are mainly harvested for the needs of their own canteens serving the workers of the agricultural complex, as well as for the pickling shop. Sauerkraut and traditionally pickled cucumbers in stores in the metropolitan region are sold under the Ot Petrovicha brand Sauerkraut is in the greatest demand, 30 tons of pickles are harvested annually.

For the future, a lot is not chopped - everything is calculated for implementation. The goods in the warehouse are running out - a new batch of ferments is being prepared.

Where there is beauty

Roses became the most beautiful type of products of the UE "Agrokombinat" Zhdanovichi ", the industrial production of which in our country few dared to engage in, became roses: 22 of the most beautiful varieties in the world today flaunt and smell fragrant in the greenhouses of the Bogatyrevo division. The most popular is the Red Naomi variety of red roses. The sorting of flowers according to the size of the bud and the length of the stem is entrusted to an automatic line.Both flower growers and sorters here are only the fair sex: where there are women, there is beauty.

Now, under the artificial sun, which is produced by our own cogeneration plant, the cucumber crop is ripening for the New Year's table. Thus, providing greenhouse "beds" with their own heat, sun and CO2, the company reduces the cost of greenhouse vegetables.

Bumblebees, which the Zhdanovichi agricultural complex grows for itself and for sale in its own insect production laboratory, are "responsible" for the yield of greenhouse beds. The contribution to the HEALTH of some buzzing families is made by the buzzing families of another subdivision of the economy, living in a bee apiary. The bees provide the bumblebees with pollen, and the population with honey.

- This year, 5 tons of honey were pumped out, - says the head of the planning and economic department, Yevgeny Mezhen.

So one division of the enterprise supports another, bringing additional profit.

In trend - direct spin

A good crop of apples was harvested this year by the gardeners of the agricultural complex. A significant part of the bulk goes to the production of directly squeezed juice. Juice from the fruits and berries of our own garden is another type of end product that the agrocombinat supplies to store shelves.

Rape is profitable

This year, the farm is also gaining in rapeseed (+200 tons compared to last year), which processes on its own pressing line, purchased more than seven years ago and recently upgraded. Cake for cattle feed, oil for pig herd feed. Surplus oil is exported with more than 100% profitability!
