This was announced by the HEAD of the region Radiy Khabirov at a meeting in the government on Monday, December 6.

“A large settlement, where more than 500 people live, was essentially left without a livelihood. Before the new year, residents should receive appropriate compensation,” the head of the republic said.

As RBC Ufa reported earlier, infected and already ill cows were found in personal subsidiary and peasant farms in the village of Pervoye Turkmenevo. On November 25, quarantine for infection was introduced in the village, and a state of emergency was declared in the Baimaksky district and Sibay. Infected cattle are seized from their owners and disposed of. On December 2, vaccination of healthy animals began. Specialists plan to vaccinate about 15,000 cattle and 15,000 small cattle.

According to the acting head of the administration of the head of Bashkiria, Ural Kilsenbaev, compensation will be calculated at market prices. On December 6, local residents began to receive food packages, including products from the Dairy Kitchen.

Lumpy skin disease is caused by a virus that spreads quickly. In infected animals, body temperature rises, there is a loss of live weight and productivity, damage to the eyes and mucous membranes of the respiratory and digestive organs. Nodules (tubercles) appear in the skin and internal organs. Mortality in lumpy skin disease does not exceed 10%, in case of complications, its probability increases.

DIRECTOR of the Federal Research Center for Virology and Microbiology Denis Kolbasov, in a conversation with RBC Ufa, noted that over the past five years, during which lumpy dermatitis has been registered in RUSSIA, the veterinary service has worked out mechanisms to control and eliminate foci. There is a vaccine against the infection, and if all the necessary measures are taken in the outbreaks, the consequences of the outbreak will be minimal.
