Residents of Balabanov want to buy local products in their hometown

Residents of the city of Balabanovo and other settlements of the Borovsky district of the Kaluga region do not have access to the products of the local Yermolinsky MEAT processing plant, which produces semi-finished products and sausages under the interregional brand Yermolino.

Products manufactured in Balabanov are sold in many regions, but there is still not a single branded retail store in the city where the production is located.

In the spring of 2021, the management of Yermolinsky Meat Processing Plant LLC applied to the city administration with a request to allocate a site for a non-stationary retail facility. However, all proposed options, including a site in the agricultural market, were rejected on the pretext that the manufacturer indicated the area and conditions provided for the store. In turn, the DIRECTOR of the enterprise was not satisfied with the proposal to compete for the site at the auction.

The reason for the publication was the post of one of the residents of Balabanov, who went on a business trip to Kazan, where he accidentally bought sausages produced in his hometown. He posted the picture on his Instagram page. Compatriots in the comments express bewilderment.
