Transbaikalia will consider the issue of state support for the Chita poultry farm

During a working visit to the poultry farmMinister of Agriculture of Transbaikalia Denis Bochkarev assured the management of the enterprise that in 2024 state support for egg producers in the region will not be lower than last year’s level. In 2023, the Chita poultry farm was provided with subsidies in the amount of 2.6 million rubles.

In addition, on January 12, a meeting was held at the regional Ministry of Economy on the results of the poultry farm’s work and plans for 2024. The meeting was attended by government officials , poultry farm management, and experts. At the meeting, issues of financing agricultural organizations were discussed. The management of the Chita poultry farm presented a plan for the modernization of production facilities necessary to increase capacity. Implementation of the project will require additional budget funds.

It should be noted that in 2023, a new workshop was put into operation at the Chita poultry farm with the installation of modern automated equipment for keeping 42 thousand heads of laying hens. At the end of last year, the company produced 4.2 million chicken eggs.

It is planned that the implementation of the project to modernize production facilities will increase the capacity of the poultry farm, as well as improve the quality of the products produced. In addition, this will create additional jobs and will contribute to the development of poultry farming in the Trans-Baikal Territory.
