As Rosstat reported on Friday, since the beginning of the year, food products have become more expensive by 5.3%, in 2022 by the end of October they increased by 6.5%. These indicators do not take into account prices for alcoholic beverages, which rose by 0.3% over the month, by 2.4% since the beginning of the year, and by 1.8% in annual terms.
Thus, egg prices in October increased by 13.1% compared to September, by 18.7% since the beginning of the year, and by 23.9% in annual terms. Chicken prices rose by 3.7% last month, by 29.1% since the beginning of the year, and by 26.8% compared to October last year.
An increase in prices was also observed for certain types of fruits and vegetables, which in general increased in price by 1.9% over the month, by 11% since the beginning of the year, and by 24% in annual terms. Thus, prices for tomatoes in October increased by 31.1%, garlic - by 8.5%, bananas - by 5.8%, oranges - by 3.6%, grapes - by 2.1%. At the same time , potatoes fell in price by 8.9%, cabbage - by 7.7%, carrots - by 6.6%, apples - by 6%, lemons - by 2.4%, beets - by 2.3%.
Among other food products, hamburgers rose in price by 4.8%, chicken legs - by 4.2%, turkey MEAT , poultry culinary products and olive oil - by 3.1-3.3%, pork and lamb (except boneless meat) , rice, dry MILK formula for baby food, coffee in fast food organizations - by 1.9-2.9%. Prices for beef and pork, boiled sausages , frankfurters, sausages, minced meat, wheat and rye bread, bakery products, milk for children, semolina increased by 1.5-1.8%.
Sunflower oil prices rose by 1% in October. But compared to the beginning of the year, prices are lower by 1.5%, in annual terms - by 4.2%.
Canned meat and fruit and berries for baby food, vermicelli and cocoa fell in price by 0.2-0.7%.
SUGAR prices decreased by 0.5% over the month, but since the beginning of the year, positive dynamics of 17.5% have remained. Compared to October last year, sugar remains 7.6% more expensive.
