Trans-Baikal farmers master the new production. The owner of the peasant farm Bair Balzhimaev began to build a workshop for drying and curing MEAT. He started his business four years ago.
He bought the land and the old premises of the collective farm, from which only walls remained. Now the farmer is repairing the building, but the creation of a whole workshop will require about 12 million rubles. Governor Alexander Osipov supported the initiative of the Transbaikalian and offered several options for finding funds: a soft loan or the creation of a cooperative. In 2017, the farmer has already received a grant of 1.5 million rubles and was able to purchase more than 300 sheep. Now his farm has 360 heads of small cattle and 167 cows. Bair Balzhimaev is also applying for another grant for family farms. He wants to develop production and open a slaughterhouse.
