Voronezh Region: African swine fever outbreaks have been eliminated at AGROECO sites.

125,000 pigs have been culled. During the forced downtime, personnel will be reemployed at other holding companies. The projected decline in pork production is estimated at approximately 7%.

The remaining 42 AGROECO pig farms are operating normally. The facilities located in the Voronezh Region have been switched to a rotational work schedule. Restrictions on vehicle movement have been introduced. Round-the-clock monitoring of animal welfare and multi-level product safety controls are in place.

Thanks to systematic work since the outbreak was detected, AGROECO has prevented the supply of infected MEAT to customers and prevented the spread of the ASF virus into the environment. Vladimir Maslov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the AGROECO Group of Companies, clarified that a total of approximately 10,000 samples were collected and tested, with shipment volumes of up to 1,000 tons per day.
