In the first half of the year, Vietnam increased imports of MILK and dairy products by 14.5% to $650 million. Such data is provided by the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Development of Vietnam.
Overall, the country increased the total value of livestock imports by 8.9% to $1.82 billion.
MEAT imports increased by 51.5% to $727 million, imports of pedigree pigs and pedigree poultry for breeding amounted to 12.8 thousand heads and 1.82 million heads, respectively.
The Ministry also noted that RUSSIA is the largest supplier of meat products to the Vietnamese market .
