Ulyanovsk veterinarians did not find the bird flu virus in suspicious chicken

One of the processing enterprises of Ulyanovsk received broiler meat, released in one of the districts of the Samara region, unfavorable for low-pathogenic bird flu H9.

Employees of the regional agency of veterinary medicine and Rosselkhoznadzor urgently went to the production site to take samples of raw materials. Chicken samples were sent to an accredited laboratory for PCR diagnostics, which confirmed the absence of avian influenza virus RNA in the batch of raw materials.
