The Supreme Court ordered the poultry farm to pay a fine for an antibiotic in the composition of the product

The decision was made in 2021 after the discovery of the residual content of enrofloxacin during the laboratory examination of frozen broiler thighs and drumsticks. The results were confirmed by research protocols in an institution subordinate to ROSSELKHOZNADZOR. At the same time, the enterprise was sent a proposal to eliminate a gross violation of veterinary legislation.

Subsequently, the company managed to challenge the decision in the regional arbitration COURT, but Rosselkhoznadzor, in turn, appealed to the court of the next instance, which recognized its decision as legal. Two more cassation appeals were filed during the proceedings. The point was put by the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation.
