Thanks to a regional grant for the creation and development of a peasant farm, a new sheep farm appeared in the village of Chernavskoye, Prytobolny district.

Entrepreneur Daria Igumnova received a grant of 5 million rubles in December 2020. In a year, she was able to establish a full production cycle from a farm to a trading counter. He purchased 97 heads of Romanov breed sheep, equipment for a MEAT processing workshop and the production of semi-finished meat products.

Sales of products are now established in Kurgan. At her own expense, Daria renovated and equipped the farm shop. The total amount of funds invested in the project by the entrepreneur amounted to 12 million rubles, 9 jobs were created.

In 2022, the entrepreneur plans to use the remaining funds of the grant to build premises for keeping 100 sheep in the Tobolny district and purchase another 10 heads of ewes.

- Such projects demonstrate the demand for grant support, and most importantly - the return on investment. Every year, thanks to support programs, more new industries appear in the region, jobs are created, and the number of farm animals is growing. We intend to continue to support the initiatives of farmers and those who intend to link their activities with agricultural production. In the near future, it is planned to announce a competitive selection of projects under the Agrostartup program, - the press service of the governor quotes Pavel Koshcheev, DIRECTOR of the agro-industrial complex of the Kurgan region.
