African swine fever outbreak registered in Zaporozhye region

Executive authorities and veterinary services are eliminating the outbreak of African swine fever in the east of the Zaporozhye region of Ukraine.

Epizootic focus of ASF was registered in Molochansk (Pologovsky district). The death occurred in a private compound where 10 pigs were kept

The boundaries of the zones of protection and supervision are determined. For the period of quarantine, local residents are switching to closed keeping of pigs. It is forbidden to feed animals with food waste that has not undergone heat treatment. It is not allowed to sell pig products bypassing the veterinary and sanitary examination.
