In the village of Ononsk, Olovyanninsky district of the Trans-Baikal Territory, a cattle slaughter shop was opened, the website of the regional government reports.

The project of the agricultural consumer cooperative "Olovyanninsky" invested 12 million rubles of own funds of the association of local farmers and 10.3 million rubles of a grant from the Ministry of Agriculture. Trans-Baikal Territory.

SPPK "Olovyanninsky" mounted a production line, installed refrigeration equipment, built a pre-slaughter base and purchased specialized means for transporting animals. As a result, 11 new jobs were created. In the future, the staff is planned to expand to 16 people. The productivity of the enterprise is 75 heads of cattle and more than 100 heads of small ruminants per shift.

According to Vladimir Kartashov, chairman of the Olovyanninsky SPPK, the workshop is of strategic importance for farmers. It will save the economy from problems with the sale of products. In the near future, it is planned to launch the production of semi-finished meat products at the same site.
