
According to the EMISS data of the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat), in September this year, the average retail price of chilled and frozen broiler carcasses in RUSSIA amounted to 173.1 rubles per kilogram, which is 3.2% higher than in August.
By the end of the third quarter of 2021, chicken MEAT in the domestic consumer market has risen in price by 24% year on year.
In September, the average price of chicken meat in Russian retail rose to its peak value since the beginning of 2019. For the period under review, the minimum level - 138.03 rubles per kilogram - was recorded in the Unified Interdepartmental Information and Statistical System (EMISS) in February 2019.
Based on EMISS data, over the nine months of this year, the average price of a kilogram of chicken increased by 26.04 rubles (17.7%). In September, the highest price of a broiler carcass in the Far Eastern Federal District of Russia was 231.49 rubles per kilogram, and the lowest in the Volga Federal District was 160.44 rubles per kilogram.
Broilers on the Russian market continue to rise in price, despite the decline in world prices for poultry meat.
