Khakassia has begun accepting applications for subsidies for the purchase of breeding young animals.

This year, Khakassia farmers have already purchased 238 breeding calves of beef breeds such as Aberdeen Angus and Hereford. More than 25 applications for the subsidy have been received so far. In addition, the subsidy for the sale of sheep and goats is calculated at a rate of 20 rubles per kilogram of live weight sold. To qualify, applicants must own at least 100 ewes and ewe lambs over one year old as of January 1 of the current year. Support is provided to those farms that ship meat to slaughterhouses in the region.
