In the Khabarovsk Territory, 10 new farms were created with state support

This was reported by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the region. This support is provided within the framework of the national project “Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives.”
20 citizens took part in the competitive selection, of which 10 people from the Khabarovsk, Vaninsky, Verkhnebureinsky, Vyazemsky, Nikolaevsky and Lazo districts became winners.
Financing in the amount of 41.3 million rubles will be provided to recipients until August 20, 2024 , of which 40 million rubles are allocated from the federal budget.
The winning farmers intend to develop dairy and MEAT farming, engage in beekeeping, berry growing, as well as growing vegetables in greenhouses and potatoes.
The department reported that starting in 2024, applications for participation in the competition will be submitted through the Portal for providing state financial support measures. In addition, from this year the maximum amount of the Agrostartup grant for the development of livestock farming is up to 7 million rubles, and for other areas - up to 5 million rubles.
“The support measure is very popular among rural residents of the region. Since 2019, with the help of grant funds, 42 seasonal greenhouses have been installed in the region, 12 tractors, more than 250 pieces of agricultural equipment, 140 heads of cattle and 1000 heads of young geese have been purchased. Also built were 6 livestock buildings, a honey processing workshop, honeycomb storage facilities and warehouses for storing vegetables and finished products. As a result, 59 jobs were created in rural areas. The production of peasant (farm) farms increased by 2.4 times from 2020 to 2023,” emphasized Galina Poduzova, HEAD of the small business department of the regional Ministry of Agriculture.
Let us recall that as part of the support, a Competence Center was created on the basis of the Regional Agricultural Fund, which provides farmers with free assistance in preparing the necessary documents for participation in competitions. Every year, about 500 consultations are carried out, and up to 70 people seek help with business projects and paperwork.
