By autumn, there will be a jump in prices for meat and semi-finished products in Tyumen. The reason for the increase in prices was a dry year: from April to June, precipitation was 2.5 times less than the norm, which affected the density of seedlings and plant development.
“We expect that due to non-fulfillment of harvesting plans, the cost of grain will increase by 25%. Feeds occupy 80% of the cost of pork, while the grain base is their least expensive component. The growth in the market value of other components of feed - soybean and sunflower meal - is forecasted to be within 50%, ”Sergey Mamontov, CEO of the Yubileiny agricultural holding, told RBC Tyumen.
According to him, prices for meat products this year will grow in proportion to the cost of raw materials from which they are produced. However, for enterprises with a closed production cycle, the price increase will be less. For example, at Yubileiny meat and products from it will rise in price by 10-15%.
And this fact will be taken into account when preparing the monthly analytical report Meatinfo.ru
