In the Tula region, a poultry farm is taking preventive measures against bird flu

Volovsky Broiler LLC is undergoing preventive measures to prevent the avian influenza virus subtype A subtype H9. This is evidenced by  a document  posted in the collection of legal acts of the regional government. 

“Organize the selection of “at least 25 blood samples from one poultry house (hall, batch) of the parent flock, replacement young and broilers at the time of slaughter of birds with a frequency of 10 days for examination by the serological method and the PCR method” until 3 negative results are obtained in a row” , - says the Order of the Veterinary Committee of the Tula Region.

In addition, the boundaries of the threatened zone have been determined - the territory of the poultry enterprise Volovsky Broiler LLC, located on the territory of the Volovsky District municipality.

For the period of the events, Volovsky Broiler LLC prohibits the sale of live poultry and hatching eggs.

The HEAD of Volovsky Broiler LLC was instructed to develop a program for the eradication of avian influenza at the poultry farm, coordinate with the veterinary committee of the Tula region and the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR department for the city of Moscow, the Moscow and Tula regions, with the subsequent implementation of measures.
