The 25th Congress of the Farmers Association was held in Tatarstan: results and plans for the future

During the congress, Kamiyar Baitemirov, President of the Association, presented a report on the organization's activities for the period from 2020 to 2024 , focusing on the growth of business activity in the agricultural sector and state support for small and medium-sized businesses. Plotnikov noted the achievements of the region's agro-industrial complex, emphasizing its importance both for Tatarstan and for the entire country.

Minister Zyabbarov shared forecasts for the development of small farms in 2025, noting that thanks to the efforts of local residents, the republic is fully provided with basic food products. In 2024, small farms in Tatarstan produced agricultural products worth 142.2 billion rubles, including significant volumes of MILK, MEAT and vegetables.

In 2025, direct support for small businesses is envisaged in six areas with federal co-financing and nine republican initiatives, totaling 1.33 billion rubles. In addition, the prospects for the development of poultry farming and horse breeding were discussed, as well as the importance of managing sales activities through electronic platforms.

The congress ended with the election of Kamiyar Baitemirov as the President of the Association for a new term. Minister Zyabbarov also presented awards to the winners of the republican competition "Family Farming Dynasty of the Republic of Tatarstan" and noted the achievements of the best employees of the agro-industrial complex, presenting them with letters of gratitude and awards.
