These crops were first sown on the farm, covering 154 hectares. The harvest is planned to be used for silage and animal feed.

Amaranth can be used both fresh and for silage. The "Giant" variety is high-yielding, with an average green fodder yield of 150 centners per hectare. The green fodder is abundant and juicy, and the plants reach a height of 1.9–2 meters. The crop's main characteristic is its high fat content, approximately 8%.

The sorghum-sudangrass hybrid is characterized by a high concentration of natural sugars. This property makes it a favorite food for cattle , sheep, and horses. In terms of forage value, this plant surpasses most cereals. The green mass contains 9-13% protein and 13% sugar, with 100 kg of green mass containing 21 feed units. The nutritional value of this silage rivals that of corn. The green mass yield was 400 centners per hectare.

The technology for growing crops is relatively simple. This advantage stems from the plants' low maintenance and good resistance to various diseases and pests. According to Sergey Olegovich Kalinin, General Director of Deyevskoye LLC, the only drawback is the need for a special seeder for small-seeded crops.
