In the Sovetsky district of the Kirov region, the enterprise unlawfully extended the shelf life of pork products sold to socially significant institutions in the region

Thus, on December 18, 2023, an authorized person of the enterprise issued a production veterinary certificate for the production of 3.56 tons of frozen pork loin cuts with a production date of December 17, 2023 and an expiration date of June 15, 2024 .

The manufacturer used frozen pork loin cuts as raw materials with a production date of December 17, 2023 and an expiration date of May 15, 2024. Thus, the shelf life of the products was extended by 30 days.

All products were sold to the Municipal State Institution “Food and Social Nutrition Plant” (Kirov), which sent these products to kindergartens and schools in Kirov.

The revealed fact indicates a violation of the Veterinary Rules for the organization of work on the preparation of veterinary accompanying documents, the Procedure for the preparation of veterinary accompanying documents in electronic form and the Procedure for the preparation of veterinary accompanying documents on paper, the Law of the Russian Federation “On Veterinary Medicine”, the Federal Law “On the Quality and Safety of Food Products” , requirements of the technical regulations “On the safety of MEAT and meat products”.

On December 25, 2023, the Office of ROSSELKHOZNADZOR sent a warning to the enterprise, and a warning was sent to the authorized person in the FSIS “VetIS.Passport”.

Information about the identified violation was sent to the recipient and manufacturer of the product, to the administration of the city of Kirov, the Ministry of HEALTH of the Kirov Region, the Ministry of Education of the Kirov Region, the Ministry of Social Development of the Kirov Region and the Veterinary Department of the Kirov Region.
