About 200 kilograms of counterfeit goods found in North Ossetia

Experts found that in the workshop of an individual entrepreneur V.V. Albegov in the Republic of South Ossetia-Alania, out of 200 kilograms of chicken meat, 105 kilograms of products were produced, which went on sale under the guise of cattle meat products, including Spicy beef, beef whips, ham and sausages.

A similar substitution was made by Gurme LLC in the village of Mikhailovskoye, Prigorodny district of South Ossetia, which produced 89 kilograms of “beef” whips and ham, indicating 135 kilograms of chicken meat as raw materials.

Counterfeit manufacturers have been warned against misleading consumers and violating the requirements of the EAEU technical regulation “On food safety” (TR CU 021/2011).
