In the agricultural enterprises of Yakutia, the number of livestock has sharply decreased

In agricultural enterprises, at the end of February 2021, compared to the corresponding date in 2020, the number of cattle decreased by 24.2%, pigs - by 20.6%, horses - by 5.3%, the number of reindeer increased by 4.0 %, birds - by 10.0%.

In January-December 2020, farms of all categories, according to calculations, produced 37,030.0 tons of livestock and poultry for slaughter (in live weight), 162.4 thousand tons of MILK, and 140.3 million eggs.

In agricultural organizations in January-February 2021, compared with January-February 2020, the production of livestock and poultry for slaughter (in live weight) decreased by 13.2%, gross milk yield increased by 2.8%, egg production - by 35 .7%.

Milk yield per cow in agricultural enterprises in January-February 2021 amounted to 193 kilograms against 144 kilograms in January-February 2020; egg production of laying hens - 55 eggs against 49 a year ago.
