MILK production in June fell to 110.4 thousand tons, which is 16.3% less than in 2024 , and over the six months the decline was 6.2%, indicating serious difficulties in the dairy industry.

Furthermore, egg production also declined: 679.7 million eggs were produced in the first six months of 2025, down almost 19% year-on-year. However, in June, egg production increased to 137.6 million eggs, up 13.4% from June 2024.

Despite the decline in production, prices for some food products in the region have fallen. For example, the price of chicken eggs has fallen by a record 21.21%, averaging 79.75 rubles per dozen. The average price of MEAT varies: beef is 619.61 rubles per kilogram, pork is 406.82 rubles, chicken is 219.55 rubles, and lamb remains the highest at around 777.89 rubles per kilogram. Dairy products also showed a slight price decline: a liter of pasteurized milk costs around 92 rubles.
