In Russia, subsidies for preferential loans for the purchase of agricultural machinery have been increased to 70%

The main change concerns the procedure for using preferential loans, as set out in the order of February 12, 2025. The new conditions will allow farmers to receive more favorable financing conditions for upgrading their equipment, which in turn should improve the productivity and quality of agricultural products.
The increase in subsidies was a consequence of the decline in sales of equipment amid economic instability. This decision assumes support for domestic producers and the creation of new jobs in the agricultural sector. The state is also considering additional support measures, including leasing programs, which is especially important for small and medium-sized farms.
