Some key aspects to consider include:

  • Keeping records of pedigrees of "imported" animals and their offspring, especially bulls.
  • The Selex system serves as the primary source of data for dairy farms.
  • Work is underway on a mechanism for verifying animal records with the participation of regional authorities and laboratories.

In addition, a significant reform of the legislation in the field of livestock breeding is expected, including the cancellation of a number of requirements of the order of the Ministry of Agriculture concerning the percentage of inseminations by breeding bulls and the yield of calves. Important changes will be introduced to create information cabinets for animal owners, which will provide the ability to manually enter data or upload it. Control over the authenticity of the origin of animals will be carried out using molecular genetic methods.

Detailed information on the procedure for accessing the system will be provided by the Ministry of Agriculture in the future. However, it is already clear that all data on animals in the FGIAS PR will be subject to mandatory verification by regional authorities .
