“At the beginning of August 2023, the vacancy for an agronomist was in first place in terms of increasing the number of offers in the agro-industrial sector. The increase compared to the same period last year was 2.7 times.

In addition, the number of job offers for caring for livestock increased by 2.3 times. The number of vacancies for tractor drivers has doubled.

At the same time, according to the service, agronomist vacancies in August amounted to 3% of all job offers in industrial sectors. The specialty occupies the first line. Tractor drivers are in second place with a share of 2.3%.

As the number of vacancies increases, so does the salary offered, the study says. The fastest growth in wages is observed in the field of livestock care. Salaries in this area increased by 32% and now reach an average of 44.1 thousand rubles. The average salary of an agronomist increased by 26% to 67,000 rubles. At the same time, individual proposals reach 250,000 rubles.

The highest salaries are offered to agronomists in the Voronezh, Volgograd, Astrakhan regions, as well as in the Krasnodar Territory. Those who have the skills to collect and analyze information, as well as confidently use digital technologies, will be able to claim a higher salary.
