In the native village of Shumkov, the production of marbled meat is growing

In the village of Shastovo, where the Kurgan governor Vadim Shumkov was born and is still registered, the production of marbled MEAT is growing. The number of cattle has already exceeded 1,100 heads.

The Agroservice LLC company plans to increase the herd of Aberdeen Angus cattle in Shastovo, which comes from Australia and is famous for its marbled meat, to two thousand heads. So far, bulls have been delivered only to the North,” the Department of Agroindustrial Complex of the Kurgan Region reported on its official website.

The native village of Shumkov - Shastovo has changed a lot for the better in recent years, when Vadim Mikhailovich became the HEAD of the Trans-Urals. At the initiative of Shumkov, at the entrance to Shastovo, an unusual monument was erected to those who died during the Great Patriotic War in the form of an eagle spreading its wings. Local residents kindly joke that they themselves are now "under the care of their countryman-governor."

The production of "Australian delicacies" is carried out by Agroservice LLC, which is managed by a successful businessman Im-Ali Bagashev. Even tourists from other regions of RUSSIA come to admire the Aberdeen Angus cows. The farmer has already evaluated options for building a slaughterhouse with subsidies from the regional department of agriculture, which include a 40 percent discount for livestock breeders.

The governor came to Shastovo, noticed the empty canteen building, offered to open a demanded production, promised to help with subsidies. The regional leadership is interested in keeping people busy in the village, - the official website of the Department of Agro-Industrial Complex of the Kurgan Region quotes the words of the businessman Im-Ali Bagashev.

The LLC "Agroservice" enterprise employs many residents of Shastovo. People strive to earn money, give up bad habits. Drinking in the village has become much less. The agricultural enterprise is engaged not only in the production of marbled beef, but also in crop production, the villagers are busy all year round. “You don’t have to send anyone on vacation without pay. In winter, tractor drivers deliver fodder. Other employees, meanwhile, are making repairs to the facilities of the farm. Retaining current specialists and attracting young people is extremely important for the Agroservice company, for Shastovo, for the entire Kurgan region,” the head of the economy emphasized.

Earlier, the Ural Meridian news agency reported that Shumkov's native village was left without gas. Many residents of Shastovo are pensioners and are in old age. It’s not easy for older people to live in a pandemic anyway, and here they also have to extract bottled gas “with a fight,” the villagers told the agency. Shastovites expect the construction of the main gas pipeline in 2024-2025.
