Since the beginning of February, a quarantine for bovine leukemia has been established in five districts of the Tambov region. The disease was found in animals in the farms of the Tambov, Petrovsky, Rasskazovsky, Pichaevsky and Znamensky districts.

On their territory it is forbidden to EXPORT livestock, except for slaughter, and breeding material. You can not keep sick, infected and healthy cows together, use colostrum from sick and infected animals for feeding calves.

Note that leukemia is a chronic infectious disease of cattle. The source of the disease is cattle infected with the leukemia virus.
