On January 28, state inspectors of the
ROSSELKHOZNADZOR department for St. Petersburg, Leningrad and Pskov regions banned the import of 3.1 tons of finished dairy products at the Russian-Belarusian section of the state border of the Russian Federation in the village of Lobok.
MILK and kefir produced by JSC "Zdravushka-Milk" followed by road from the city of Borisov to Veliky Novgorod to JSC "Tander".
During the control and surveillance activities, officials of the Department found violations of veterinary and sanitary rules of product transportation, explained Pskov Lenta Novostei in the press service of the agency.
Despite the presence of a veterinary certificate of the Customs Union, confirming the cleaning and disinfection of transport, the vehicle in which the goods were transported was in poor sanitary conditions. A significant amount of brown liquid was found on the floor of the cargo area.
The movement of finished dairy products on the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union is prohibited, according to the materials of the supervisory authority.
