Borovskaya poultry farm received ₽5 billion in revenue last year

Unlike other poultry enterprises in the region, PJSC Borovskaya Poultry Farm named after A. A. Sozonov, owned by the government of the Tyumen region, last year showed the maximum income for the entire time of work.

According to information published in open sources, against the backdrop of the covid-19 pandemic , the Borovskaya poultry farm received 5 billion rubles in profit, which is 0.2 billion more than in 2019. This is the highest figure in the history of the company. Profit at the end of 2020 amounted to 309 million rubles, which is 9 million more than the same indicator of the previous year. The staff of the poultry farm last year was reduced by 27 people - up to 1404 employees.

At the same time, the Borovskaya poultry farm has repeatedly found itself at the epicenter of scandals related to the environmental irresponsibility of the management. In particular, last week employees of the territorial department of the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR found that the soil in the vicinity of the village of Borovsky, where bird droppings are stored, is infected with E. coli and enterococci and contaminated with nitrites. The company will be fined 400-700 thousand rubles.

At the same time, other poultry farms in the Tyumen region reduced profits in the year of the pandemic. PRODO Tyumen Broiler in the village of Kaskara maintained its revenue at the level of 2019 (4.8 billion rubles), but the profit fell almost three times - from 600 to 236 million rubles. The staff of the PRODO group enterprise was expanded by 31 units - up to 1556 employees.

The revenue of the Pyshminskaya poultry farm has also not changed since 2019: it amounted to 1.7 billion rubles, but the profit decreased by more than a third from 93 to 34 million rubles. The staff last year was reduced by 61 people - up to 646 employees.
