Dangerous Listeria Found in Primorsky Dumplings from Novosibirsk

As a result of laboratory tests, category B dumplings were found to be non-compliant with microbiological requirements – the presence of listeria. Listeriosis caused by these bacteria is dangerous for humans. Listeria is resistant to the external environment and can develop even at low temperatures, which is especially dangerous for frozen products.

The detection of listeria indicates violations in the production, storage, transportation and sale of products. The contaminated batch of dumplings was found to be non-compliant with technical regulations, was seized and placed in isolated storage. Information about the discovery was entered into the Vesta system and will be forwarded to Rospotrebnadzor for further action.
