Man killed in fire at Bryansk Broiler poultry farm

The farm is owned by Bryansk Broiler LLC (part of Miratorg ABH ). A message about a fire in one of the buildings was received by the Ministry of Emergency Situations at 14:55 Moscow time. At 15.51, the fire on an area of ​​3000 m² was localized, at 17.22 firefighters put out the open fire.

The Investigative Committee is establishing the cause of the emergency. The victim worked at the enterprise as a mechanic. As Gazeta.ru wrote with a link to the Shot Telegram channel, even before the arrival of firefighters, a 48-year-old man took a fire extinguisher and tried to put out the flames on his own, but suffocated in the smoke. 

Полностью сгорел один цех. Поголовье птицеводческого комплекса не пострадало. В «Мираторге» журналистам сказали, что предприятие продолжит работу в обычном режиме. Это третий пожар в его истории. Ранее птицефабрика горела в 2015 и 2016 годах.
