A batch of beef of dubious origin was found at the Darasun Medical Rehabilitation Center. The corresponding appeal was received by the department of the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR for the Trans-Baikal Territory.

During an unscheduled inspection agreed with the prosecutor's office, Rosselkhoznadzor inspectors made sure that 2.5 tons of cattle MEAT with signs of damage to bad brands, markings and accompanying documents are stored in the warehouse of a medical institution. Potentially dangerous beef was actively used in the catering department.

The monitoring group failed to establish the manufacturer of the batch through the FSIS "Mercury". As it turned out, the meat was bought from local farmers and private farms without any documentary evidence of quality and safety.

The entire batch of spoiled beef was burned. Based on the results of an audit of the administration of a medical institution in the Karymsky district of the Trans-Baikal Territory, an order was issued to eliminate violations, two administrative protocols were drawn up - in relation to an official and a legal entity under Part 1 of Art. 10.8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (Violation of the veterinary and sanitary rules for the transportation, transfer or slaughter of animals or the rules for the procurement, processing, storage or sale of animal products).
