In St. Petersburg, a large meat processing plant "Nevskaya Trapeza" is closed

In St. Petersburg, the meat-packing plant "Nevskaya Trapeza" is closed. The DIRECTOR of the enterprise does not comment on the situation, but one of the managers of the sales department said that three weeks ago the staff was warned about the upcoming reduction. 

So far, the MEAT processing plant does not curtail production and continues to ship products. The journalists were advised to clarify the reasons for the upcoming closure with the director of JSC "PF" Nevskaya Trapeza "" Valery Metelsky, but the receptionist answered that he was not at the workplace and would not be next week. 

In 1993, the Nevskaya Trapeza holding merged the Nevsky and Kirovsky agro-industrial plants. A large enterprise producing sausages and meat delicacies, until 2019, worked with a billion-dollar revenue, but by the end of 2020, it decreased by 5% to 926 million rubles. The meat processing plant employs 244 people.
