
The meeting brought together Eduard Katashov, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Penza Region , Oleg Kukharev, Rector of the Penza State Agrarian University, and representatives of the Innopraktika Foundation. Participants discussed the practical application of genomic programs in Russian regions and addressed issues of improving the gene pool of farm animals in the region.
According to the regional Ministry of Agriculture's press service, genomic selection is a key factor in improving the quality of livestock selection and breeding.
