The famous breeding enterprise is being revived in the Orenburg region

The Governor of the Orenburg Region Denis Pasler held a working meeting at the Hereford PC LLC, a farm created on the basis of the bankrupt Experimentalnoye LLC

Plans for the further development of the enterprise were discussed at the retreat: together with the governor, the heads of scientific institutions, banking organizations and the first vice-governor - first deputy chairman of the government of the Orenburg region - Minister of Agriculture, Trade, Food and Processing Industry of the Orenburg region Sergey Balykin visited the breeding center.

In 2019, on the basis of the bankrupt enterprise Experimentalnoye LLC, a center appeared that breeds a breeding herd.

The investor managed to resume the production of MEAT and milk: today the number of cattle here is 812 heads. Most of them, 696, are beef cattle. Over the past two months alone, more than 200 Hereford heifers from the Chelyabinsk region have been brought here. From imported heifers have already received offspring - 77 goals.

- The “Experimental” farm was known throughout the country, for many years it was the base site of the All-Union Research Institute of Beef Cattle Breeding. Unfortunately, after privatization, the enterprise ceased scientific activity and eventually fell into decay. The new owner acquired the farm, which had been going through bankruptcy for more than 3 years. You can see how quickly the situation began to change: livestock appeared here, 5,700 hectares of land in cultivation, there are clear plans for development, - Governor Denis Pasler emphasized. - Now the center will receive the status of a breeding enterprise for breeding cattle of the Hereford breed. And in the long term, it can become one of the leading breeding farms in the country, with a population of 40-45 thousand highly productive cattle.

This year, the new owner plans to continue importing young cattle of the Hereford breed from the Chelyabinsk region, as well as heifers of the Simmental dairy breed from Austria - 550 heads by the end of the year. Also this year, a room for keeping dairy cows will be reconstructed and a milking line for 200 heads will be installed.

- We are already designing a new complex for 5 thousand heads, where we will keep the best livestock - the genetic core for breeding. Using cattle from CANADA and Denmark, we will create our own gene pool: it is fair that this work will be carried out on the territory of the enterprise, where the genetic policy in the country was historically formed. With the support of the governor and his team, we will restore what has been lost, - Gor Khechoyan, the owner, emphasized.

The maximum task, according to the investor, is to become the first among the intelligible centers of the country. Over time, a laboratory will be created on the basis of the enterprise, where specialists from the agricultural university will be able to work. Cooperation with him is already beginning: next week, veterinary students will arrive here for practice.
