During an inspection of a vehicle traveling from Omsk to Pavlodar, 60 kg of pork was discovered being transported without the required veterinary certificates. The cargo belonged to a citizen of Kazakhstan, who failed to provide a Customs Union certificate, which is required for the legal transportation of goods across the border. The MEAT was confiscated, and the vehicle was returned to the loading point. The violator was subject to an administrative penalty for failure to comply with veterinary and sanitary regulations. ROSSELKHOZNADZOR specialists continue to monitor compliance with safety requirements for the international transportation of livestock products.
