Production increased sharply in the Novosibirsk region

In January-February of this year, 6.6 times more cereals were produced in the Novosibirsk Region than in the same period in 2020. Volumes of MILK production for the year increased by 61%, milk powder and cream - by 49%, cheese - by 16.5%

Also, in the first two months, the region produced 16% more butter, 14% more cottage cheese and 8% more ice cream. The production of frozen pork increased by 18%, chilled lamb - by 2.3 times.

“The catch of freshwater fish has almost doubled in the region. In January-February, almost 1.2 thousand tons of fish were produced, which is 81% more than a year earlier,” the report says.

The growth in terms of production of sausages amounted to 4%, MEAT semi-finished products - 15%, canned food - 21%, processed fish - 40%, mayonnaise - 14%, soft drinks - 37%, confectionery - 7%.
