Also, in the first two months, the region produced 16% more butter, 14% more cottage cheese and 8% more ice cream. The production of frozen pork increased by 18%, chilled lamb - by 2.3 times.
“The catch of freshwater fish has almost doubled in the region. In January-February, almost 1.2 thousand tons of fish were produced, which is 81% more than a year earlier,” the report says.

The growth in terms of production of sausages amounted to 4%, MEAT semi-finished products - 15%, canned food - 21%, processed fish - 40%, mayonnaise - 14%, soft drinks - 37%, confectionery - 7%.
