Start-up and adjustment work will soon begin in the new workshop of the Orsha Meat Processing Plant

The Orsha Meat-Packing Plant has completed the installation of equipment in the workshop for slaughter and processing of pigs and cattle (cattle) and will soon begin commissioning.

This is the only such project in the country, it is being implemented under Decree No. 506 "On the development of the Orsha district of the Vitebsk region." The productivity of the new workshop will be twice as high as the current capacity. In production, everything is provided to the smallest detail so that the product meets the requirements of any customer. The launch of the workshop will make it possible to arrange the supply of products to CHINA and Muslim countries.

According to plans, about 200 people will work at the new production facility. One of the features is the complete separation of raw material flows. “The workshop is equipped with automated production lines with conveyors. The equipment has a product traceability system, from the reception to the output of the finished product. For the processing of pork and beef, deboning and trimming departments are provided, as well as the manufacture of semi-finished products, ”said Victoria Timoshchenko, HEAD of the plant’s workshop.

The production will comply with international requirements for the quality of MEAT products and their packaging. The capacity of refrigerating and freezing chambers for cattle is 239 tons, pork - 212 tons.

The final preparations for the launch are underway in the new workshop, and in the coming days, specialists will begin commissioning. Production of products will begin from the beginning of next year, but it will take about two more years to fully load production capacity.
