In Namsky ulus of Yakutia, modern cowsheds were introduced in two cooperatives

On October 29, in the villages of Kysyl-Syr of the Khomustakh 1st nasleg and Tumul of the Modut nasleg of the Namsky ulus, two agricultural cooperatives solemnly opened new cowsheds equipped with modern equipment for 100 heads each, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) reported.

As noted by the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic Alexander Atlasov, in December 2020, the Sakha SHPK passed the selection of recipients of a subsidy to financially support the costs incurred by agricultural consumer cooperatives for the construction and modernization of cowsheds in 2020. The amount of the subsidy amounted to more than 7 million rubles.

At the moment, the cooperative has 60 heads of cattle, of which 20 are cows.

More than 7 million rubles were also provided for the construction of the second facility - the cowshed of the Ilge Khotun SPOK of the Khomustakhsky 1st Nasleg, of which 800 thousand rubles are the cooperative's own funds. Today, the total number of cattle in the farm is 76 heads.

As Alexander Atlasov emphasized, the new barn will provide an opportunity for the development of an agricultural consumer cooperative, an increase in the breeding stock of cattle, the volume of production and an increase in the income of the cooperative.

Recall that the introduction of new cowsheds in the ulus became possible due to the implementation of the regional project "Creating a system to support farmers and develop rural cooperation", which is part of the national project "Small and medium-sized businesses and support for individual entrepreneurial initiatives."

The regional project "Creating a system to support farmers and develop rural cooperation" has been operating since 2020. This support measure creates clear benefits for agricultural consumer cooperatives, allowing them to modernize and build cowsheds. In 2020, thanks to the implementation of this project, subsidies were provided to 6 cooperatives for the construction and modernization of cowsheds.

In 2021, 16 cooperatives received this subsidy in the amount of more than 98 million rubles.

Thanks to such support, cooperatives are steadily increasing their production, increasing the number of livestock of farm animals, and updating their production base. All this increases the agrarian potential of the republic, stimulates an increase in the volume of gross domestic output.
