More than 35,000 breeding chickens were imported from France to Mordovia, with monitoring carried out by Rosselkhoznadzor.

Upon clinical examination, the young animals were found to be healthy. All necessary veterinary documentation was completed correctly, and the importer complied with all requirements regarding animal import and the veterinary certificate, which complied with EU and Russian Federation standards. After unloading, the vehicles were cleaned and disinfected in a designated area.

The State Veterinary Service of the Republic of Mordovia has developed and is implementing quarantine measures in accordance with uniform veterinary and sanitary requirements for goods subject to veterinary control.
