680 violations in the processing of veterinary accompanying documents have been identified in Mordovia.

For example, on October 25, a veterinarian issued a VSD for a batch of beef weighing 802 kg with a production date of November 5, 2024 , which violated the product traceability system. Furthermore, 92 instances of documentation discrepancies were also identified, with products produced without the required raw materials and with an incorrect fat balance.

In response to these violations, the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) took a number of measures: 345 warnings were issued to business entities and the registration of six authorized persons in the VetIS.Passport system was suspended. Thirteen phantom sites were also discovered, which prompted an additional appeal to the State Veterinary Committee of the Republic of Mordovia.
