A "round table" with the farming community was held at the site of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Moldova. Oleg Sirota, the project coordinator of the ONF "People's Farmer" became its participant. A well-known cheese maker was invited to the republic by the leader of the Russian Union of Rural Youth, a participant in the United RUSSIA preliminary vote, Yulia Ogloblina.

The round table discussion turned out to be very lively and productive. it was noted that Mordovia is one of the leading regions in the production of MILK, eggs, sausages, cheese, and MEAT per inhabitant of the republic.

There are about 200 agricultural organizations in the region, more than 1100 peasant farms and more than 175 thousand personal subsidiary plots.

Small forms of management are very popular in the republic. It is they who receive the greatest state support. Over the past 8 years, the amount of funding for start-up farmers, family livestock farms, grants for Agrostartups has exceeded 1,186.8 million rubles.

One of the key topics of the "round table" was the sale of farm products. Together, the participants in a fascinating discussion tried to answer a number of questions, including: how to produce cheaper and easier, and sell at a profit for the manufacturer?

The idea of creating a "School of People's Cooperation" for training, consulting and methodological support for farmers in Mordovia was supported.

— We plan to create a standard model of an agricultural cooperative. It will include a store, a wholesale center. The run-in model can be offered to farmers and experience can be exchanged. After all, it is easier to walk along an already trodden road, - said Yulia Ogloblina.

The round table was preceded by a trip to the Ichalkovsky district. Oleg Sirota and Yulia Ogloblina visited several small rural industries.

— We really liked Father Mitrofan's cooperative from the village of Insarovka. The business is three years old. Every quarter, the farmer receives reimbursement for production costs, keeps about 100 heads of livestock. The owner is not going to stop there. Plans to purchase equipment for the production of semi-finished products. Such initiatives should be supported,” Yulia Ogloblina concluded.
