I added my own funds to this amount and bought equipment from our closest neighbor - the Republic of Belarus: a “smart” microclimate system and a floor system for feed and water. Also in the Simferopol region in July, he purchased half a thousand laying hens of the Hisex Brown breed. I rented a warehouse and converted it into a poultry house. Now this is a fairly spacious room, almost in a loft style. The bird was brought last week. They are quite comfortable in their new place. In just a few days we even managed to adapt to such luxurious conditions,” the minister commented.

The HEAD of the Ministry of Agriculture of Crimea recalled that such grant supportis being implemented within the framework of the national project “Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives.” Over the past few years, thanks to Agrostartup, there have been several poultry mini-enterprises in the republic. Since 2020, 3 more peasant farms have been successfully operating in the Leninsky and Simferopol regions. The implementation of these business plans made it possible to create new jobs, preserve old ones, and also provide additional farm products to Crimeans. As a result of the work of farms, about 2 million eggs were produced last year.
