3.4 billion eggs produced in Leningrad region in 2021

In the Leningrad Region, according to the results of 2021, the production of edible eggs increased by almost 9%, according to the regional Ministry of Agriculture. According to preliminary estimates, regional poultry farms produced 3.4 billion eggs.

According to the agricultural department, more than 10 investment projects in the field of poultry farming with an investment volume of over 10 billion rubles are being implemented and planned to be launched in the Leningrad Region. In the TOP-3 in terms of capital investments are the Voiskovitsy poultry farm program, which includes the construction of a site for the production of more than 44.4 million units. hatching eggs per year, as well as the Roskar poultry farm (the commissioning of six poultry houses for 360 million edible eggs). The third project was the modernization of production facilities at the Sinyavinskaya poultry farm, thanks to which the enterprise can produce 144 million more eggs.

Two more enterprises of the Leningrad poultry industry did not stand aside. So, "Severnaya" built sixteen poultry houses for growing broiler chickens. The new complex is designed to produce more than 25 thousand tons of poultry MEAT per year. In turn, the poultry farm "Roskar" put into operation a feed mill, which can produce up to 400 thousand tons of such products per year.
