Beef processing complex opened in Leningrad region

On May 25, in the village of Rozhdestveno, Gatchina district, a solemn opening of a MEAT processing complex took place.

The enterprise includes a slaughter shop, a section for cutting carcasses of cattle and a boning shop and a meat processing line. The final product will be delivered to retail chains in vacuum packaging. The volume of investments amounted to 300 million rubles.

The initiator of the project is a local farmer Roman Shevtsov, who owns a herd of beef cattle. Now there are 738 animals on his farm and a fattening site for 2,000 bulls is being built.

The design capacity of the complex allows processing up to 100 heads of cattle per day and producing more than 6,000 tons of beef per year. This year it will be used by 50%. The new enterprise opened 70 vacancies.
