The corpse of a bull from Mongolia sailed to the Kyakhtinsky district of Buryatia

In the Kyakhtinsky district of Buryatia, on the banks of the Kiranka River, they found the corpse of a bull that sailed from Mongolia. The ROSSELKHOZNADZOR Department for the Irkutsk Region and the Republic of Buryatia, together with the border department of the FSB of RUSSIA for the Republic of Belarus and the republican veterinary department, on April 30, liquidated it as a biological waste, the press service of the Buryat Rosselkhoznadzor reported on May 5.

The Department of Veterinary Medicine of the Republic of Belarus conducted a study of the tissues of the corpse for anthrax, a dangerous disease was not detected.

According to the order of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation dated October 26, 2020 No. 626 “On approval of the Veterinary rules for the movement, storage, processing and disposal of biological waste”, the body of the animal was cremated in an incinerator.

Recall that Mongolia is considered a veterinary-unfavorable country, in connection with which even the import of MEAT is prohibited from there. And in Buryatia at the beginning of 2022, an outbreak of nodular dermatitis had to be fought, which caused considerable damage to farmers and private farmsteads in several regions of the republic.
